Hi! I'm Taylor!

I bake sourdough bread from my home kitchen and deliver fresh loaves to cities throughout Oakland County, Michigan.

I started baking sourdough in 2025, originally just for my family and friends. I quickly fell in love with trying new flavors, tweaking my recipes and techniques, and perfecting my classic plain loaf. After sharing my creations with friends and family, I kept hearing the same thing: “You should sell this!”

What started as a hobby has grown into Tay’s Bread Co.—and I’m so excited to share my bread with you!

Frequently asked questions

Is there a delivery fee?

No- deliveries are free!

When do deliveries happen?

Most deliveries occur on Friday afternoons between 12pm and 5pm. If I am planning to make deliveries on a different day, I will try to make this as clear as possible through both the Simply Bread platform and social media. The date that the bread will be delivered will always be clearly stated on the ordering page in the Simply Bread platform.

Where do you deliver?

I am currently delivering bread to locations within Madison Heights, Troy, Rochester, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Oakland Township, Orion Township, Lake Orion, and parts of Hazel Park. If you live within one of these areas and are unable to place an order on Simply Bread, please contact me as it might be an error. If you live outside of these areas and are interested in delivery, please let me know! Delivery zones may change in the future to fit the demand.

How do I place an order?

All orders are placed through the Simply Bread platform. Click here to place an order.

Do you follow the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development cottage food laws?

Yes, I follow the MDARD cottage food laws and have completed the Food Safety Training for Michigan Cottage Food Law through Michigan State University. If you have any specific questions about this, please feel free to contact me at 248-509-4446 or through the “contact” page on this website.

What if I am not home when my order is delivered?

If you are not home when your bread is delivered, it will be left on your porch. The bread will be packaged in a paper bag that is inside of a clear, tied plastic bag. If you would like me to leave your order in a specific place, please let me know this in the “delivery instructions” when you place your order. You may chose to leave an empty bin or container on your porch for this purpose.

Do you accept cash payments?

No- at this time, I am only accepting card payments.
